The News Editor is used to manage the news stories displayed both on the news page, and on home page.


It can be found under Settings > News Editor in the top navigation menu.

  1. Add a News Story to the website
  2. Show News Stories that have passed their expiry date and are no longer visible to the public
  3. Access Web Communication System (WCS) Online Help
  4. Icons next to the News Story Title represent it's state:
  5. Click the 'Open Envelope' icon to send the story as a News Mailout to your subscribers. 
    A 'Closed Envelope' indicates an Email Update has already been sent, and cannot be sent again.
    The number underneath the icons refers to how many subscribers it was sent to.
  6. Edit the News Story.
  7. Delete the News Story
