Once you have logged in the main window of MRS 3 will appear on screen similar to shown below.

On the left of this window you have the main menu. The items on the list take you to different parts of the application. Some of the options open submenus which appear the the right of the main menu with a similar style. On the right hand side is the working area of MRS. When you first launch the application there is nothing there. As you open some of the features of MRS they will populate this space. If you feel you need more space on the right for the work you are doing you can collapse the main menu by clicking the icon near the bottom of the main menu. This will collapse the menu down to icons only (you can still see what each button does by hovering over the icon).
